NARMADESHWAR SHIVLING is the holy symbol of union of Lord shiva and Shakti . Lord Shiva from time immemorial has been worshiped in the form of linga or lingam. The word linga is derived from the two Sanskrit words laya (dissolution) and agaman (recreation).
