Malai made of small conch shells or Shankh are considered lucky and auspicious. Shankh or conch shell is dear to Goddess Lakshmi and is used in Puja. Conch Mala is used usually while worshipping Goddess Lakshmi. It is believed that wearing of small conch mala brings peace and prosperity.
